As you are aware the nation, as well as the world, is experiencing an escalating situation centered around the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. The number of confirmed cases continues to increase globally and has caused many organizations to cancel or postpone upcoming events.
Our foundation exists within the healthcare arena. We try to help people obtain quality access to care as well as provide other significant options to assist them with their overall healthcare needs. The health and welfare of our OnDoc Members is our first and foremost priority. We therefore have made the decision to cancel the in-person piece of our Elevate event this year. While disappointed, the decision was an easy one to make when considering the negative potential and risk that would be placed upon you.
In the coming weeks, we’ll share more information about how you can participate in a reimagined digital version of Elevate with webinars and videos from some of our guest speakers, and we’ll announce new dates for Impact 2020. We realize there are questions for those whom have registered and made any travel arrangements. We will refund all Elevate registration tickets, and we ask that you reconsider any travel and accommodations you’ve booked for the event. Most major airlines are providing full refunds or no fee credits towards applying ticket purchase price to future flights.
