When Lisandra first heard about at OnDoc, she says she was instantly a “believer.” And now she is officially so! Lisandra is working her way up the ranks with OnDoc and is excited about the opportunities it presents. She is a busy single mom of two and is the youngest of eight children from a big Latino family. Lisandra grew up in New York City, but now resides in Concord, NC. She and her children stay busy caring for their boxer “Precious,” visiting zoos and aquariums, and volunteering with their church. Lisandra has served as a volunteer youth leader there for four years and is also on staff as a ministry coordinator.
OnDoc services have been beneficial for Lisandra and her family, particularly Teladoc and Doctors Online.
“As a single mom, I don’t get sick days. My sick days are reserved for my kids,” Lisandra says. She’s been able to save time and work days, get second opinions, and speak directly with specialists regarding her family’s care. She also loves that they can use OnDoc services while traveling.
Lisandra is especially excited about helping OnDoc grow in the Hispanic community where access to care is often a concern. “I’m not a salesperson, but this is so different. It changes the game completely when you believe in what you sell,” Lisandra explains. She hopes to be able to work with OnDoc fulltime in the future.
